Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the whole Holistic Audio Recording Distribution (H.A.R.D.) service. This covers both the Assessment Provider and DWP portal used by staff, and the claimant journey reached by the secure text message link.

Using this service

This service is run by the Department for Work and Pensions. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the service using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the service using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the service using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We have also made the text in the service as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this service is

This service is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard. We are not aware of any part of the service that fails to meet this standard.
